{"id":5696,"date":"2026-05-16T15:00:15","date_gmt":"2026-05-16T12:00:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/international.uaic.ro\/?page_id=5696"},"modified":"2026-05-17T13:09:04","modified_gmt":"2026-05-17T10:09:04","slug":"bologna-process","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/international.uaic.ro\/?page_id=5696&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Bologna Process"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-page\" data-elementor-id=\"5696\" class=\"elementor elementor-5696\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-682b9bb e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"682b9bb\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c559e93 e-con-full e-flex e-con e-child\" data-id=\"c559e93\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2177f8d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2177f8d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What is the Bologna Process?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f5765e1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f5765e1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>What is the Bologna Process?<\/strong><\/p><p>The Bologna Process is an intergovernmental higher education reform process that includes 48 European countries aimed at enhancing the quality and recognition of European higher education systems and improving the conditions for exchange and collaboration within Europe, as well as internationally.<\/p><p>The\u00a0<strong>three priorities<\/strong>\u00a0of the Bologna process are:<\/p><ul><li>introduction of the three cycle system (bachelor\/master\/doctorate)<\/li><li>quality assurance<\/li><li>recognition of qualifications and periods of study<\/li><\/ul><p>Promotion of student mobility and diploma recognition in Europe are possible mainly due to the use of European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).<\/p><p>ECTS credits are allocated to all educational components \/ disciplines of a study programme (including course units, modules, placements, dissertation work, etc.) based on the allocation of 60 credits per full-time academic year, according to the estimated workload required to achieve the defined learning outcomes for each component.<\/p><p>In our university, disciplines taught within an undergraduate study programme are awarded between 4 and 6 ECTS credits, while disciplines of a Master study programme are awarded between 5 and 10 ECTS credits.
