may apply for selection:\n<br><br>\n\u2022 Students enrolled in full-time \/ distance learning \/ part-time education at the &#8220;Alexandru Ioan Cuza&#8221; University of Ia\u0219i, including Romanian citizens, citizens of other states participating in the Erasmus+ Program, or citizens of states not participating in the Erasmus+ Program;\n\u2022 Students in years I-II-III (IV) of undergraduate studies, I-II of master\u2019s studies, I-II-III and PhD extension periods;\n\u2022 Former beneficiaries of a traineeship or study mobility in the Socrates, LLP-Erasmus, and\/or Erasmus+ programs, only if they meet the above-mentioned criteria and provided that the total duration of the mobilities (Socrates \/ LLP-Erasmus + and Erasmus+) does not exceed 12 months per study cycle;\n\u2022 Students and PhD students in their final years, selected before the end of the evaluation\/examination session of the second semester of the final year, or before the public defense of the doctoral thesis, for mobilities taking place in the first year after graduation, have the status of &#8220;conditionally selected&#8221;; they become &#8220;beneficiaries&#8221; once they can provide proof of graduate status by presenting a certificate issued by the faculty, or a certificate issued by the Secretariat of the Doctoral School where they were enrolled or by the Office for University Doctoral Studies. These mobilities can be carried out and completed within one year of graduation.\n\u2022 A student may benefit from Erasmus+ study and traineeship mobilities at each level of study (Bachelor&#8217;s, Master&#8217;s, Doctorate), totaling a maximum of 12 months of mobility (study + traineeship) per level.\n\u2022 Consecutive mobilities at the same host institution are not eligible.\n<br><br>\n<strong>Academic eligibility criteria<\/strong>\n<br><br>\nTo be eligible for an Erasmus+ traineeship mobility, students must:\n<br><br>\na) <strong>have an ECTS score at the time of selection of at least 50% of the maximum possible score at the time of application<\/strong>, with the exception of 1st-year\/1st-semester students, for whom the admission average for the current study cycle will be considered;\n<br><br>\nb) attest to proficiency in the working language of the institution for which they are applying by presenting at least one of the following documents:\n<br><br>\n1. language certificate <strong><a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a><\/strong>;\n<br><br>\n2. high school transcript (for students who studied a foreign language in high school);\n<br><br>\n3. language proficiency certificate obtained at the Baccalaureate exam;\n<br><br>\n4. academic record related to university studies in the foreign language studied or the study program, for those studying in a foreign language, according to the candidate&#8217;s option and depending on the foreign languages studied.\nThe arithmetic mean of high school grades \/ the grade or score of the Baccalaureate language certificate \/ the university studies average or the minimum accepted score (for a minimum B1 level) must be equal to 80% of the maximum grade or score (e.g., min. grade 8\/10, 16\/20, or &#8220;Good&#8221; in the case of qualifiers).\nAn exception is made for internationally recognized certificates (such as DELF, DALF, Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS, DELE, Goethe), obtained for a minimum B1 level, for which any score is accepted.\n<br><br>\nc) <strong>obtain at least a grade of 7 in the interview held during the faculty-level selection process.<\/strong>\n<br><br>\nCalculation method for the ECTS score:\nTo calculate the ECTS score, the results obtained by the candidate in the completed semesters of the study cycle in which they are enrolled at the time of selection are considered. The Erasmus+ grant top-up also applies to students of a nationality other than Romanian, students enrolled in tuition-paying positions, and students attending a form of non-frequency education, who are selected to participate in mobility and who fall into one of the categories described above.<\/strong>\n\n<strong>!!! Files submitted in the 2024-2025 academic year under the criteria of points b, c, d, e, g, and h of this document, and considered eligible, are valid for the entire duration of the study cycle in which the student is enrolled and do not need to be submitted again during that study cycle. Files submitted based on financial criteria (point f) must be submitted annually, in the study year in which the Erasmus+ mobility takes place.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n    <li><strong>For students using sustainable means of transport \u2013 \u201egreen travel\u201d<\/strong> (bicycle, bus, car-pooling, and train), if these were used for the majority of the round-trip journey (more than 50% of the distance calculated according to the European Commission&#8217;s distance calculator), the Erasmus+ grant is topped up as follows:\n<ul>\n    <li><strong>the travel grant corresponding to the \u201egreen travel\u201d category is awarded<\/strong> (according to the table above)<\/li>\n    <li><strong>the amount corresponding to a maximum of 4 days<\/strong> (outside the mobility period) is granted, if applicable, for the round-trip journey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n    <li><strong>For participants with special needs<\/strong>, whose physical, mental, or health condition is such that participation in mobility is not possible without additional support, who require a preparatory visit to participate in the mobility, as well as those requiring a companion during the mobility, the Erasmus grant is topped up with amounts granted on the principle of actual costs, depending on the needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<strong><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\">[1]<\/a><\/strong> The evaluation of social scholarship files for ERASMUS+ students is carried out throughout the entire academic year at the level of the faculty where the student is enrolled.\n\n<span lang=\"EN\"><strong><a href=\"#_ftnref1\" name=\"_ftn1\">[2]<\/a><\/strong><\/span><span lang=\"EN\"> The file is submitted for only one category.
