Training mobilities 2025 – 2026

Eligibility Criteria: The following categories may participate in the selection for training mobilities within the Erasmus+ KA131-HED Programme:
  1. teaching staff holding a management position and Erasmus+ coordinators (for mobilities related to the responsibilities/duties of their position);
  2. research staff;
  3. teaching-auxiliary staff;
  4. teaching staff participating in an Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) for staff;
  5. tenured teaching staff at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University Senior High School.
Teaching-auxiliary staff may carry out training mobilities only within International Staff Training Weeks organized by universities from Erasmus+ KA131-HED Programme countries. UAIC staff may benefit from one training mobility per academic year within the Erasmus+ KA131-HED Programme. If university representation is required in accordance with the institutional development strategy, teaching staff with management positions, Erasmus+ coordinators, and staff from the International Relations Office may participate in selections for more than one training mobility during an academic year. A maximum of 2 persons from the same UAIC structure (faculty/department/service/office, as applicable) may participate simultaneously in the same International Staff Training Week.
Documents required for the application file:
    1. Curriculum Vitae written in English or in the foreign language in which the training will take place during the mobility;
    2. Invitation letter/confirmation e-mail of acceptance for an Erasmus+ training mobility (which clearly shows that it is addressed to the candidate);
    3. Training Agreement completed (mobility period, host institution, mobility objectives, added value, activity description, and expected outcomes) and signed by the candidate and their line manager. Participants in international staff training weeks must also attach a copy of the event programme to the Training Agreement.
Selection of candidates for training mobilities:
  • Selections for Erasmus+ training mobilities may be organized throughout the academic year, until the available places are filled.
  • Application files are submitted exclusively online (click here)
  • To ensure proper organization of the mobility, it is recommended that all applications be submitted at least 45 days before the mobility start date.
  • The Selection Committee reviews all complete files submitted on the platform twice a month: once at the beginning of the month (within the first 3 working days) and once in the middle of the month (between the 16th and 20th).
  • Following the evaluation of the files, the Erasmus+ Office communicates the status of admitted / reserve / rejected to all candidates.
  • Completing a standard request for the Rector’s Travel Order for travel abroad addressed to the UAIC Executive Board;
  • Opening a Euro bank account;
  • Travel insurance for the entire duration of the trip;
  • Completing and signing the financial contract at the Erasmus+ Office, after the Rector’s Order has been issued;
  • The payment of the Erasmus+ grant is made at most 10 calendar days before the start of the trip, provided that the financial contract is signed and registered 1-2 weeks before this 10-day deadline.
All documents must be submitted in original to the Erasmus+ Office.

Training mobilities 2024 – 2025

Selection for training mobilities – teaching staff with management positions (according to the Higher Education Law), teaching-auxiliary staff, research staff, teaching staff participating in language courses or Blended Intensive Programmes (BIP) for training (academic year 2024 – 2025)

Training mobilities can consist of:
  • participation in International Staff Training Weeks organized by eligible institutions in Erasmus+ KA131-HED Programme countries;
  • job shadowing activities (individual visits) only within member institutions of the Coimbra Group and Utrecht Network university networks, those part of the EC2U university alliance, and, in the case of research staff, also in research institutes/centers.
Maximum 1 training mobility per academic year within the Erasmus+ KA131-HED Programme. In cases where university representation is required in accordance with the institutional development strategy, teaching staff with management positions, Erasmus+ coordinators, and International Relations Office staff may participate in selections to carry out more than one training mobility during an academic year, regardless of the host institution.
  • Completing the application form and participating in the selection process
  • Contacting the Erasmus+ Office after the confirmation of the admitted candidate status
  • Completing a standard request for the Rector’s Travel Order for travel abroad addressed to the UAIC Executive Board
  • Opening a bank account in Euro
  • Travel insurance for the entire duration of the trip
  • Completing and signing the financial contract at the Erasmus+ Office, after the Rector’s Order has been issued
  • The payment of the Erasmus+ grant is made at most 10 calendar days before the start of the trip, provided that the financial contract is signed and registered 1-2 weeks before this 10-day deadline.

Maximum 1 training mobility per academic year within the Erasmus+ KA131-HED Programme Staff members already selected for a training mobility within the Erasmus+ KA131-HED Programme (scheduled to take place during the 2023 – 2024 academic year) are not eligible for selection.
  • Completing the application form and participating in the selection process
  • Contacting the Erasmus+ Office after the confirmation of the admitted candidate status
  • Completing a standard request for the Rector’s Order regarding travel abroad addressed to the UAIC Executive Board;
  • Opening a Euro bank account;
  • Travel insurance for the entire duration of the mobility;
  • Completing and signing the grant agreement at the Erasmus+ Office, after the Rector’s Order has been issued;
  • The Erasmus+ grant payment is made at most 10 calendar days before the start of the mobility, provided that the grant agreement is signed and registered 1-2 weeks prior to this 10-day deadline.

  • Contacting the Erasmus+ Office and participating in the selection process
  • Obtaining an official invitation (with letterhead, signature, and stamp) from the host institution / Confirmation of participation in a Staff Training Week
  • Completing a training programme (Training_Programme) which must be signed and stamped by the legal representatives of both institutions
