Traineeships – graduate status
RECENT GRADUATES
If you are a student in your final year, you can become a beneficiary of ERASMUS+ traineeships that can take place both during your last year of study and in the first year after graduation. In the latter case, you must be selected at the latest by the end of the evaluation/examination session of the second semester of your final year (in accordance with the last selection session established by the faculty).
Once selected, you will have the status of “Conditionally Selected” and will become a “full participant” of an Erasmus+ traineeship after sitting and passing all your exams (passing the Bachelor’s/Master’s degree defense is not mandatory before starting the mobility).
After the issuance of the certificate attesting that you have passed your exams, you must submit a Standard request for the Rector’s Travel Order for travel abroad (form) addressed to the UAIC Executive Board, through the Erasmus+ Office, according to the following model.
Along with this request, you will also bring the following documents:
1. Learning Agreement Student Mobility for Traineeships 2022-2024 – completed and signed by all contracting parties (completion guidelines, and completion model)
2. Acceptance Letter (form) – official, from the host institution
3. Declaration – Erasmus traineeship mobility type
4. Declaration on own responsibility for avoiding double funding (before departure)
5. Erasmus+ Scholarship Holder Form
6. A certificate from the Faculty Secretariat where you are enrolled at the time of selection, attesting to your graduate status (excluding degree defense).
Important!!!
The request (accompanied by the documents mentioned above) must be submitted to the ERASMUS+ Office, part of the International Relations Office (IRO), at least 14 days before the start of the mobility to be approved by the university management. When submitting the financial contract to the Erasmus+ Office, you must collect the Rector’s Order/Travel Disposition.
The financial contract is completed only electronically and printed in two copies.
After the issuance of the Rector’s Order, you will be notified by email to submit the following documents:
1. Financial contract – completed, signed, and authenticated (the form is available only at the Erasmus+ Office)
2. Euro bank account statement
3. Copy of the European Health Insurance Card (recommended)
4. Copies of 3 types of insurance policies: health insurance, personal liability insurance, and accident insurance at the traineeship site
5. Copy of the identity card
The financial contract is completed only electronically and printed in two copies.
Subsequently, you will come to the Erasmus+ Office to sign the financial contract (2 copies). You will sign the financial contract only in the presence of the Erasmus+ Office representative. Along with the contract, you will also bring: Euro bank account statement, health insurance (European card or any other private insurance valid for the entire duration of the mobility), and an ID copy.
The completed and signed financial contract, along with the supporting documents, is sent to the Erasmus+ financial officer at the International Relations Office at least 5 working days before the start of the mobility.
Attention!
The duration of mobilities can be between a minimum of 2 months and a maximum of 12 months, but without exceeding 12 months of ERASMUS+ mobility per study cycle.
You can benefit from study and traineeship mobilities at each study level (Bachelor, Master, Doctorate) totaling a maximum of 12 months of mobility (study and/or traineeship) per level. The duration of the traineeship carried out as a recent graduate is counted toward the study level recently completed.

Important!!!

After finalizing the financial contract, at the beginning of the traineeship, you will receive an invitation via email to take the initial language test. Completing this within the period indicated in the email is a contractual obligation!
If the result obtained in the language test is below the B2 level, an online course will be automatically generated by the European platform, which you must follow. You will attend this course during the period of your traineeship. Participation in the course is mandatory!
If the result obtained in the language test is at least B2, you can request an online course for Czech, Danish, Greek, English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, or Swedish, or for other languages as they become available in the Online Linguistic Support (OLS) tool. Once accessed, the requested course becomes mandatory.
